As labor free as possible, easy to use and operated by trained but mostly unskilled operators. Require minimal pre-processing, limited need for prior sorting, crushing or shredding.
Capable of handling mixed solid waste streams (non-recyclable waste with some mix of organic waste, garden waste, burnable materials such as waste wood and clothing). It can accommodate large variations in waste composition and calorific value.
Operated on a daytime shift basis, five (5) days per week. Have very low unburned materials in the slag.
Economical to operate and maintain and have a low and efficient fuel consumption. Have an operation manual in English.
